Greetings,

This will be a short message just to let everyone know that we are on our third try of leaving Houston. We left Watergate marina early this morning, 12-7-04. We topped off the fuel and went out into Galveston Bay to "sea trial" the steering. That went very well.

We then headed down to Offatt's Bayou in Galveston to rest and spend the night. We will be up at first light tomorrow morning, and heading out the Galveston jettys heading to Florida.

The weather looks favorable, but it looks like we will not have a lot of wind, or it will not be from a good direction. I am making no promises about where in Florida we will make land fall, but it will be between Tampa and Miami.

Will send another update out via our Globalstar satellite phone during the passage.

One other note, the water maker works great, so we will be able to have showers every night.
